Por mas que selecciono la opción TubePlayer, no consigo que este aparezca,,, los vídeos siguen apareciendo con la carátula antigua…

Hola antonio3407, el problema es que has seleccionado HTML5 como Embed Method por lo que fuerza a colocar el player como HTML5. Prueba cambiando a cualquier otra opción.

De todas formas es un error del plugin, si seleccionas tubPlayer debe mostrarlo. Voy a preparar una actualización del plugin en los siguientes dias. Gracias por tu aporte.

I like this plugin but there is one thing I would like to add in the settings page and that is an option for the “wmode” parameter on the embed tag.

I use a javascript toolbar at the bottom on all pages and the player gets on top of the toolbar if the wmode parameter is not set to transparent.

I changed this in the code of the plugin but then I have to remember this every time I update it.

This is the code snippet:

I also found a bug:

The ‘!=’ is wrong, it should be ‘==’. Otherwise it loads the .js even if I specified other method.

- Corregido el metodo para embeber HTML 5 que solo es soportada para el player en AS3.
- Corregido la inclusión del archivo SWFObject.
- Ahora hay un nuevo parámetro de configuración wmode.

I think the “Enable default HD playback” isn’t working because I made some tests and the videos aways start at the lowest resolution, for example, videos from youtube with the option to watch in 360p and 480p, it’s run in 360p. Videos with the options, 240p, 360p, 480p and 720p, it start in 240p.

I just installed your plugin on one of my sites. it works perfectly when used within the main content area, meaning within a page or post. When i attempt to use it within a sidebar it does not work. could you maybe tell me how i can use the shortcode within a sidebar maybe?

This plug in is dumping the following W3C errors into our site:

although we liked the plugin originally we will be forced to remove it unless the errors are corrected. please make sure that your plugins are W3C validation compliant.

I too would like to remove/hide the related videos. I set related videos False. I am using AS3 player and iframe embed. I also added the &rel=0 to try and suppress the related videos, however they still show after the videos end. Here’s my code I enter into my posts:

Found my problem, I was using the ampersand (&) instead of the question mark ?rel=0 Using the ?rel=0 suppressed the related videos at the end of each video.

You plugin is very usefull. But an error is happen since I updated your app today (14/5/2012). What’s happen? This one:

After the update, if I check this option – compatible with mobile devices – all website’s content turn unavailable.

Please check what’s happened, because I move all my contents for own domain in Feb.2012, and since then all posts I converted to this standard:

[tube]address[/tube]

I leave temporarily the ‘object’ option selected, otherwise the mobile devices are unable to watch the videos.

Hi, I always used your plugin, but this week it just stopped work. Most of my posts have youtube videos and now. It’s all about games walkthough. Can you imagine what is going on?

I solved y problem. I found the settings in wordpress setting tab. I used:
-> Embed Method Use (AS3 & AS2 Players)
-> Player Version Use AS3 player
The combination with iframe and tubePlayer doesn’t work.

This plugin has been working great for me for a while, but for some reason, it doesn’t work with mobile Safari on iOS 6 for iPhone. It just displays a big black block and messes up the page layout. Would you be able to look into it?

This plugin is awesome and by far the best for YouTube Videos. I was struggling to change the look of the default YouTube player with ugly player controls.

This plugin with tubeplayer provides nice and good looking player controls and very easy to use.
